This time 7 years ago today I was sat at my laptop in London, sworn to secrecy as I edited the backstage footage from XFactor. Working my first month as a freelancer, little did I know that 7 years later I would be sat in a very different office in Peterborough working completely for myself, having survived 7 years as Ellen Jackson Videography!

There comes a time in everyone’s life when we have to say goodbye to something we love.
For some it might be your first car, others it could be your family home…. but for me, it’s my first commercial camera!!
Now you might think this is a bit irrational, but this camera has been my rock. It has taught me new things, taken me to amazing places, and above all it has NEVER LET ME DOWN. There has never been so much as a corrupt file and it has always looked the part.

Yes it’s snowing, and some of you love it and some of you hate it, but I’m just one of those people that wants to be out there in it. The office has been under deep snow this week, so I took the opportunity to get outside.
